Hello and welcome to my blog. I'm Wardah and I started this blog, Best of Wardah, in 2010 as an outlet for my passion. 

My interest in art and food started when I was two with my first finger painting and has been going strong ever since. I live in a tiny little city in Michigan with my husband and baby boy. Now, instead of drawing stick figures and making mud pies, I paint ostrich eggs and cook delicious food for my family. 

Besides the trial and error I practice at home, I have no formal kitchen or photography training. I love trying recipes from cookbooks and the web and sharing my results. I use a Canon t4i with a standard kit lens to take all my pictures.

I truly enjoy what I do and I hope you feel the same way about my work too! Have fun exploring.
